A stability booklet is the class- and flag-approved document that gives a vessel’s master the lightship data, hydrostatics, tank capacities and worked loading conditions needed to keep the ship within the intact and, where required, damage stability criteria of the IMO Intact Stability Code, SOLAS and the applicable class rules.
